The Onyx is an all-black female music ensemble. This collective of women came together to solidify unity among women of color and to provide an artistic outlet for the female voice to be heard. Hailing from and recalling styles of Oakland, Atlanta, New York and Chicago, this eclectic group brings soul, rock, funk, and latin music to an electrifying peak that will have you on your feet!

An accomplished DJ, drummer & artist, Elembe Blaise, has had the opportunity to travel and play music all over the world. With a vast catalog of music specializing in African, World, Reggae, Roots/Dance Hall, Bhangra, Salsa, Reggaeton, Funk and Soul, Jazz and Hip Hop, DJ Elembe has the ability to seamlessly mix all genres of music bringing crowds to the dance floor.

davOmakesbeats is a DJ + Producer, co-owner of Swagger Like Us and Molly House Records, and former member of the electro-hop duo Double Duchess. His overall production styles are inspired from Baltimore club, global breaks, along with various techno and hip-hop elements. Originally from the Baltimore/Washington area, he began touring and performing in the live music scene as a vocalist and drummer/ percussionist.

After relocating to San Francisco in 2007, he began producing nightlife events and DJing more regularly to soon find a new home and purpose in creating art and spaces for the queer community, both in the Bay Area and beyond.

Continue the PRIDE celebration after Oakland First Fridays with GOODVBZ at O N E L O V E, celebrating LOVE within the Queer and Trans POC Community. GOODVBZ is one of the most well known parties for QPOC in the Bay Area, known for serving nothing but GOOD VBZ with Hip-Hop, R&B, Dancehall & Reggae. Line up includes DJ's YNG GMA, Micah Dempsy, Bijou M.
