Matterport lets you create a 3D rendering (a digital twin) of you space (a space where you display your art). This allows you to offer an immersive experience to your audience.
To complete this exercise, you need:
To get started you need to first create a free account on Matterport (click here to sign up). You should not enter any credit card information and will not need a paid plan to create a space on Matterport. The free version lets you create one space for free - this is what we'll be using.
Search on the app store for the Matterport Capture app and download it.
You'll be using the capture app you downloaded on your iPhone or iPad to film your space to create the 3D rendering, and log into the Matterport website to add labels to your rendering (ie. names and descriptions of your art work).
